Korean cucumbers


  1. Cucumbers 1 kg
  2. Green onion 30 g
  3. Garlic 5 medium cloves
  4. 1 carrot
  5. Onion 1 pc.
  6. Red chili flakes 40 g
  7. Sweet paprika 15 g
  8. Fish sauce 3 tbsp. tablespoons (fish sauce can be replaced - 2 teaspoons of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of anchovy paste)
  9. Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  10. Sesame seeds 1 tbsp.
  11. Water 60 ml
  12. Salt 2 tbsp

Step 1.

Cut each cucumber into 4 parts, stepping back from one side 1.5 centimeters.

Step 2

Add plenty of salt and leave for 30 minutes

Step 3

Chop green onions 1 centimeter.

Step 4

Carrots should be cut into thin strips.

Step 5

Cut the onion very thinly into half rings and cut the half rings into half more.

Chop the garlic.

Step 7

In a deep bowl and put in it all the ingredients for the filling, mix everything well with your hand.

Step 8

Rinse cucumbers thoroughly from salt under running water, drain the water.

Step 9

Take a cucumber and put the filling in the middle of the cucumber, distribute the filling inside the whole cucumber and put on a plate. Cucumbers should lie down for 30 minutes and the cucumbers are ready.
