Ingredients for making cherry baskets
- Butter 125 grams
- Wheat flour 250 grams
- Egg 1 piece
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Roasted almonds 1 handful
- Salt 1 pinch
- Cherry 500 grams
- Lemon juice to taste
- Malaga (dessert wine) 1 teaspoon
- Fresh mint several leaves

Step 1: prepare the dough.
Wheat flour should be sifted, poured into a deep plate and add salt. Mix.
Grind the almonds in a blender and add it to the flour.
Cut the cold butter into small pieces and mix with flour and almonds, turning the mass into crumbs.
Add the chicken egg and knead the non-sticky dough.
Roll the dough into a ball, wrap it in film and send in the refrigerator to 30 minutes.
Step 2: prepare the filling.
Rinse the cherries, sort and seed, cutting each berry in half.
Mix the berries with sugar, dessert wine and chopped mint leaves.
Step 3: we form baskets with cherries.
Roll out the dough and cut out circles to fit your muffin tins. From the remaining dough, cut thin stripes to decorate the baskets.
Fold the dough into forms and fill it with cherries, and put strips of dough in the form of a lattice on top.
Step 4: bake cherry baskets.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send the baskets into it on 25-30 minutes.
When the dough is baked, cool the baking, carefully remove it from the molds and decorate with powdered sugar if desired.
Step 5: serve the cherry baskets.
